What is an Elder Law Attorney?
An Elder Law Practitioner helps clients and their families navigate the maze of legal and financial issues associated with a diagnosis
of memory loss or other chronic disabling illness.
How to Find an Elder Law Attorney?
Ideally, a friend family member or co-worker has worked with an Elder Law Practitioner that they are able to personally recommend.
Otherwise, your attorney, accountant or investment advisor may have an Elder Law Practitioner that they are able to personally recommend.
How to Select an Elder Law Practitioner?
Before engaging the services of an Elder Law Practitioner, interview the practitioner to see if he/she is a “good fit”,
experienced in the field and make sure to discuss fees.
